Eldarwyn
Small islands, long evenings, and a long road from your first birch log to a wyrm-slayer's kit. It begins on Hollowmere, a small island of woods and stone, in a world you share with everyone else playing.

The game
Start with an axe. See where it takes you.
Eldarwyn is a life-skilling game in the spirit of the old browser classics. You gather, you make things, you get better at it, and the islands open up as you do.
Seventeen skills
Woodcutting, mining, fishing, farming and hunting bring in the raw goods. Smithing, woodcraft, crafting, cooking and alchemy turn them into tools, gear, meals and potions.
Islands to reach
Trees and rocks get tougher, and more valuable, the farther you walk from the clearing. Build a boat, cross the causeway to Thornbury, or climb the old watchtower for the view.
Other people
Everyone plays in the same world. Chat, trade, duel, form a guild, sell on the market board, or gather a party for the bosses that are too strong for one.
Things to chase
Eleven quests from Elder Maren, five bosses, rooftop agility courses, hiscores, a weekly challenge, twenty pets to find and a town that grows as your reputation does.
A look around
The same island, never quite the same
Seasons turn every two days, the weather changes every few minutes, and a full day and night passes in twelve. Everybody sees the same sky.

Screenshots from the game. It is still being built, so the island you find may already look a little different.
Trouble
Some things on the island hit back
Come to the Barrow King alone and he calls up his guard. The Frost Titan is built for three to five players, and the Dread Knight walks the Old Fort for seven minutes in every twenty, for whoever turns up. Blades, maces and bows each suit different monsters, so it pays to carry the right one.

A living place
The village doesn't wait for you
Eldarwyn keeps its own hours, and it keeps them for everyone at once.
- Villagers follow a timetable: out in the square by day, supper at the inn, home to bed at night.
- The night watchman walks his round with a lantern from dusk to dawn.
- Wolves hunt in packs after dark and the dead grow restless, but they carry more.
- Fell a tree or empty a rock and it is gone for every player until it comes back.
- Each season favours a skill: farming in spring, fishing in summer, woodcutting in autumn, mining in winter.
- Dobbin's cart runs between Hollowmere and Thornbury, and waits for no one.
